I was back in Munster last week. They are collecting money in order to purchase addition Pz II's parts. I contributed with a few coins

I can't wait to see their Panzer II in its current condition. I wonder how much of it is missing yet.

The outdoor area that was supposed to open in March 2013 is closed. I asked around and seems there is no date for it yet. I was allowed a few minutes to quickly take a few snapshots, most vehicles are under tarpaulin, but we should be able to identify most if not all of them.

Seems like the Museum tries to rotate a subset of its display every year. A very good choice.
In 2012 on this slot there was an MLRS, in 2013 there is this Pionerpanzer (the MLRS is now under tarpaulin along the bridgelayers).

I have a question, I know there are two versions of Pionerpanzer, is this version 1 or 2?

Definitly not a PiPz 1, so it will be a Pionierpanzer 2A1 Dachs (Badger)

The main difference is the boom, the PiPz 1 has a fixed boom like the BgPz2.
It doesn't has a bucket like the PiPz 2.

The pictures aren't great but the different boom can be seen.
