Convoy to Remember 2013
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

This is the largest event in Switzerland and in the past I always missed it since its dates overlapped family vacation. This year I followed it for the whole three days:

Yes Walter, there was a very nice Horch 108 from Austria.

I am still processing all the pictures and video, I'll post more images pretty soon, including the Horch.

The Dodge is a model T215. The body could be the WC3, WC13 or WC21. They were all similar.
Chris' Ford CMP should be an F15A (15 cwt truck).

Dodge WC7 or WC24, Command Reconnaissance version with winch

If the hood number 2051819 is correct, then it will be a WC24

Thanks Michel and Costas!

AMX-13 in Switzerland are pretty rare, since most of them were sold to Singapore. The runners are even harder to find:

There are couple of these in the area here...one still does some "light duty" farming, hauling of corn to deer stands, stuff like that. Of course, they're red, but stand out in a region dominated by Farmall A models and the occasional John Deere and Ford classics. An astonishing number of Farmalls see regular use and are unrestored. Next time the tractor show is held, I'll try to get a pic.

I have pics from the last one of a McCormick-Deering (International Harvester) 20T caterpillar tractor of the type used by the army for a number of purposes. It's been restored to Pebble Beach Concours level and makes everybody go weak in the knees.
