After such a long time ....it's good to report back. The medics indeed saved my leg ( seeing the Surgery Crew 5 times did the job Shocked

) and I'm slowly getting forward - beginning with some 50 metres and now up to some 500 gives good hope of a satisfactory recovery in due time. ( around

Christmas? ) A painful affair but that's the way it is. Well, there will be some screenies on their way and I hope to avoid the attention of the White Coats for a long time to come.............. Smile

Welcome back, Hans. I'm sure you know from various sources (tried not to pester you, but wanted to know if you were "still on the right side of the dirt") that there was a lot of concern for your condition.

You can fill us in as time and your inclination permits, but know that we're delighted to know that you're OK. I'm much relieved (and sure I'm not alone in that).
