Sofia. National museum of military history
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The Mercedes should be a L3000 if I am not mistaken

I had the feeling it's not as big at a 3t truck, but for sure it's bigger than a 1,5t truck.

Could be a L3000, but I am still not 100% sure

Not all vehicles are like that in Sofia. There is a specific area where the Museum stores the wrecks.
Later on I will post more vehicles that are in pretty good shape.

Thanks a lot Walter! In my mind I was comparing its dimensions to an Opel Blitz and feel it was somewhat too short, but indeed it matches the model in the picture you just send me.

Thanks for the Ursus Rafal!

The soviet tracked tractor should be a Ya-12. I will double check with the Tankograd book once I'll be back at home.

When I get home, I'll take a look at Vanderveen's books for your mysterious vehicles as well as the car behind the Ursus tractor.
