Sofia. National museum of military history
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

That elevation drive looks like Krupp - the 15cm sFH 93 has the same elevation drive but it's two sided with two elevation wheels.

Maybe a Krupp 12cm howitzer from the early 1890s?

Regards,

Charlie

I had the impression it was pretty much looking like a Krupp design too, but I don't have any info to confirm that.

Thanks

Massimo

Lately I have been busy with my full-time job, but I will keep things moving, albeit at a slower speed.

Great photos as always! How's new job going? I interviewed for a job up in Pennsylvania, on Friday, kind of near Carlisle where I did Tank research years ago. I was hoping to go to VA to visit & photo the Museum there, but got sick with a cold after interview! Still might try to go there at months end. For my current photos visit my account at flickr. (brick6757). Rick

Need to id this howitzer. It has a "Krupp" look, may be 120 or 150 mm:

So far I think it's a former Turkish piece. Very similar to the Finnish one:
