This might be a dumb question but who is''jaoschreck'' and what is his connection to Aberdeen? "Fortunately the gun has been stored inside for years and is in superb condition. The mount and trailer are in surprisingly good shape for having been outside at Aberdeen for years" .... is this being done for the Army Museums? If so its a great start at preservation....

It's a 30 mm MK 103 gun on top of a 20 mm Flak 38 mount.

Cobrahistorian is Jon Bernstein, the curator of the AAA Museum at Fort Sill, OK. I imagine the work is being done for the museum.

The location in which the photos were taken looks like the storage tent area near the new museum bldg.
