Sofia. National museum of military history
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I am thinking about Nordenfeldt too, but I would like to identify the exact model.

I think the machine gun thingy is a 5-barrel 0.45" Nordenfelt machine gun
from the 1880s - the action is that it fired a volley of rounds rather than continuous fire. Much more on these guns at www.victorianshipmodels.com/.

Regards,

Charlie

5 barrels & looks quite small calibre, certainly not 1" calibre.

I'd go for the Mk II 5-barrel Nordenfelt, myself. .45" calibre.
Looks like a 4-barrel, 1" version next to it.

Krupp 9cm C73, by the look of it, although the shield is unusual. The bolt-on reinforcing strips on the cradle and the handwheel were the clues.

I recognized that late 19th century "Krupp" feeling. But the shield is something I've never seen before.
