We’ve added a gallery of photos of M4A3(75) SN 12307, RN 3054462 on display at a local park on 3rd Ave NW in Milaca, MN.

Indeed! You wonder why they bothered with the 'muzzle brake', it would have been much better without.

Could the muzzle brake in fact be the cylindrical blast deflector from the early version of the 90mm fitted to M47/48 series tank?

Costas, it is from a 90mm and seems quite common here in MN. We have many 'A3's here and a few have this feature.

It looks similar an example fitted to one of the M47's at Camp Atterbury.
