The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Yes it was great to finally meet Walter! I also had a trip in an Sd Kfz 10, what a fantastic vehicle.

And to top off my day I bumped into Hilary Louis Doyle of Panzer Tracts. He and George Bradford published a Bellona book back in 1969/70 of all military AFVs up until 1969 (which I still have) and that book was mainly responsible for my interest in tanks and modelling them which continues to this day! We had a good chat and it was great to meet him.
