14 M60 Galleries - KY, LA, MN, NE, NY
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

As for the tank in Shreveport. That armory was home to the 1/156 AR. Place was called Fort Humbug. I was with the tank unit there for 6 years. I can understand your frustration, but that fence was put there to keep vagrants from climbing all over the tank looking for something to steal. There was an M48 there before the M60 and you would have been amazed at what they tried to pry, rip, unbolt...etc. It was in pretty bad shape.
