Trevor, if you want some or all of the pics, I will send you a DVD. I also have visited several other places like Cobbaton and Muckleburgh..

Copies of the photos would be great, thanks. It's funny going through those links - many of those tanks I haven't seen on public display since my 1982 visit.

I agree, very nice pics. I have visited the Tank Museum 5 times now since 1978 and hugely enjoyed each one. Here is my take on the picture IDs that Trevor didn't cover.

; Marmon Herrington Mk 4 armored car (the sign says so)
; YP408
; BRDM-1
; Fuchs (Fox) prototype
; T18 Boarhound
; EE9 Cascavel
; AT105 Saxon
; Stalwart
; Alvis Saladin, FV601
; HS30 APC
; HS30 mortar carrier
; Panhard AML H60
; Panhard AML H90
; Saracen FV603
; Panhard EBR FL10
; Saracen Armored Command Post FV604
; Warrior FV515
; Humber Pig FV1611
; Centaur half-track Land Rover
; BV202
; Ferret (probably Mk 2)
; Morris Mk 1 Scout Car
; Crossley Mk 1 Armored Car
; Leyland Armored Car

Hope this helps,

The Cambridge carrier is the only surviving one. This is an Armoured OP version (FV 402 or Armoured OP No. 4) and was recovered from the ranges at Porton Down and restored at the Museum in 1984.

I can identify UID2039 and UID2030. I suspect IMGP6955 is UID1988.
