Just because it's back!

The Baseball thread started to get a bit carried away so I figured Hockey needed it's own home!

This is a puck drop from the UND Fighting Sioux (good) vs. Northeastern (bad), which we won 6-0. The gameplay is a lot less fighting a lot more team play than NHL, albeit there is the occasional fight, which gets the crowd, really worked up Smile

I used to get to some college hockey games when my sister was going to school at Geneseo in upstate NY!

Here's a pic of my kid's pee wee SHARKS celebrating the Stanley Cup win in a best 3 out of 5 series. They were 32 and 2 in the regular season and swept round 1 and 2 in the playoffs. We won the first two games in the best 3 out of 5 final series and had the DJ and Cake and Grape Sodas all ready to go predicting a sweep. They dropped the next two to go to a game 5! The blonde headed kid to the left of the guy raising his left hand in the back row scored 3 goals in 38 seconds in the final minutes of the game to take the victory! I'm the guy with the purple hat. We've been knocked out in round one and two every year since! lol

No, actually, I took the picture. I've never played hockey in my life. I had never even watched a full game till I came up here to North Dakota. Hockey just isn't worth anything in Kansas (where I grew up). It's all football land down there (which, by the way, UND is 8-0 and #1 in Division II football. Going all the way through the playoffs baby!). But yeah, I've only skated a few times in my life, and those were usually when we went to Ohio to visit family for Christmas.

From Nova Scotia (a little town that you've probably never heard of eh?), so i'm not entirely sure thats even counted as Canada.

But yes, she is definatly good looking and very inteligent (in stark contrast to the newfie i know).
