Bovington
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

There is something fishy about the gun of the Covenanter. It's too short and even the OQF 3" howitzer of the Close Support variants (see this Crusader IICS for reference) has a longer barrel than the one in the picture. Unless it's out of battery.
Also note the WW I L/23 QF 6-pounder 6 cwt tank gun on an armored train carriage in the background.

Good catch! It looked better in 2011:

I wonder what how they missed it or indeed what caused it. A leak in the recoil system, perhaps?

For what's worth, the Covenanter was in a different position than in 2011, it was just in front of the door. Wonder if it was ready to go to the workshop?

Maybe Paul (aka megashort) will have updated info
