Cemetery - Kearney, NE - M4A3(76) HVSS Gallery
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

this is one of 525 M4A3(76) VVSS manufactured by Fisher, it was remanufactured to HVSS in the 1950s. We only know 5 surviving M4A3(76) manufactured by Fisher.

You can see that tank at 961 E 44th St in Google Streetview.

The article here says the tank in Seward was originally in Lincoln. I have a Linclon Sherman with SN 44098. The Seward location is 201 N 8th St, Seward, NE 68434.

re: the Lincoln tank moved tp Seward, NE. The Nebraska National Guard is/was moving its museum from the old State Fair Grounds in Lincoln, NE to a new location at an older armory in Seward, NE (about 20miles distance).

The Nebr. Guard museum has an M60, M113, M4A3E8 and an M59. All vehicles have been moved. I don't know if they are ready for display or not - I haven't gone out to see the new site yet.
