Aberdeen Museum to stay closed
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Aberdeen Museum to stay closed

Hi all,
In checking Aberdeen Museum online, I found an article from June 2013 Baltimore Sun, that the APG Museum will not reopen. I tried to post the article here (no luck) but it mainly states that even though the old Ordnance Museum drew up to 200,000 people per year they won't open a new museum there. Worth reading the article, but no real positive news about it. Rick

PO, I'll find that out next Spring (unless someone goes there first) but for now that means the building. They mentioned the aircraft that was put on display, and the two men that used to be civilian workers are looking for funds to open an Aberdeen Museum. Rick
