I once spent a four-week exercise in a Ferret. They might well be armoured but they still leak when it rains!

This very Fordson is also featured on p. 30 of 'World War 2 Allied Vehicles' by John Blackman. Lovely vehicle!

Yep. IIRC, Ford was doing a very brisk business in Germany in the pre-war years, just as a market opportunity.
