Thun. Panzermuseum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Thanks to this thread I'm heading to Full and Thun this weekend! Road trip! I'm in Munich so it's a 4 hr (or so...) drive (heck I used to drive 5 hrs to BATUS to see an Open House). I really didn't know much about these places until I saw them here. Thanks! Jim

As for Thun, as far as I remember it's not accessible on weekends, only on normal working days.

Correct, Thun is closed on weekends as it's an active army base and not a museum.

But you can also visit on Saturday morning this Museum in Wildegg, ca. 40min south of Full-Reuenthal and only open once a month: www.militaermuseumwildegg.ch
