Tiger I at APG 1989.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The Tiger I tank at Aberdeen was shipped on loan to Germany in 1989. It's back at Ft. Benning, I presume, and hopefully will be available for public viewing one day. Any news on the vehicles there? Rick photo 34. Commanders seat. photo 27. coaxial MG mount (no MG)

I notice that the Panther next to it, is missing several roadwheels.

Adam, The Panther had damaged wheels as long as I can remember. It seemed top have been damaged in the war, but maybe APG shot the wheels off in a test? Rick
