Santa Fe 2015 in Overloon
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Just out of curiosity, what does "Santa Fe" ("Holy Faith") mean in the context of this display?

As I understand it, and partly from their website, Santa Fe is a military vehicle conservation group founded in 1987 and concentrating on preserving original vehicles of the 1940-45 period from the American, British and Canadian armies. It takes its name from the American 35th Infantry Division, nicknamed the "The Santa Fe Division” which liberated the area of Roermond and Venlo and aims to keep alive the memory of the sacrifices made during the liberation of this part of Holland during World War 2.

Thanks, now it makes a lot more sense:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/..._States%29

"The Santa Fe cross was a symbol used to mark the Santa Fe Trail, an area where the unit trained, and was designated as an identifying device for the unit by Headquarters, 35th Division General Orders 25, dated March 27, 1918. The organization is referred to as the Santa Fe Division"

My interest comes from having lived a few years in Santa Fe.

Isn't that an Israeli M50? Seeing it in US guise makes me uncomfortable.

Sure is. Remember that for the vast majority, it's a Sherman Tank. So no worse than an OT810 masquerading as an Sdkfz251.

I think it's a bit hard to do 6-day war reenactment in Netherlands..
