The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi All,

We’ve uploaded a gallery of photos of the Morning and Afternoon WW2 Battle Reenactments and participating vehicles from the 2015 Thunder Over Michigan airshow. This year had a bumper crop of US Half-Tracks in attendance - some 18 total. Very cool! I’m posting one photo of each half-track below. The gallery also has four videos for your viewing pleasure.

- TrevorLarkum Nice pics. Make me think of a half-track Top Trumps set! Yep. I still believe the half track is the most under appreciated vehicle in the history of modern warfare.

It's neat to see the M15 MGMC running around. I didn't know there was a "runner" out there.
