Ft Snelling Military Museum Gallery
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hello,

We’ve posted an archival gallery of images from what once was the Fort Snelling Military Museum on Ft Snelling, MN near Minneapolis, MN.

The vehicles went all over the place. The running M42 ended up in the US Army AAA Museum at Ft Sill. I don't know where the rest ended up - likely stuck in a lot at Anniston never to be seen again.

I heard some of it has been slated to join the Ordnance and armor and Calvary museum. I did however here the Xm247 sergeant York was sent to DRMO. Can anyone confirm this?
