Photo Gallary from Lawrenceville, NJ ARNG musuem
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Does anyone know where I can find an online photo gallary from NJ ARNG museum? I looked on Vagabond's site with no results. I thought I saw a big gallery on this site that showed a few vehicles tucked away in the bushes.

Yes, that was the album. I spy a lingle (maybe 2), 2 M54 series trucks, an M44 and more hiding in the bushes.

Great pics thanks.

Silvio,
There's one M114 in bushes there, M44, various trucks. Also, check out my Sea Girt, NJ visit. I have to get back to both places, to get some more views. Rick

I dont think so, Jersey is sort of confusing for folks not from there. The Townships always confuse me....

Sea Girt 40° 7.356'N 74° 2.340'W

Lawrenceville 40° 16.233'N 74° 44.681'W

Ok so the main musuem is in Sea grit and the Lawrenceville annex is also listed on the Museum list.

So now I am confused. What is at Lawrenceville vs Seagrit?

Is the Annex the one with the indoor M16 halftrack and M4A3E8 sherman and Seagrit has all the outdoor displays and overgrown tanks?

Silvio, Both are NJ National Guard bases. Sea Girt, NJ is near the Atlantic ocean, while Lawrenceville, NJ is inland, and closer to Trenton, NJ. There is a museum at Sea Girt, but it wasn't open in 2013, due to hurricane Sandy flooding it. It has a M3 light tank and M4 Sherman (I wasn't allowed in that day to photograph) inside museum. It's also not "dog friendly" Barb and our dog had to wait at the gate (My Wife's a good sport!) while I photographed the outside displays. Lawrenceville, NJ is where the "bushes" have overgrown on vehicles. They are "dog friendly" but, We had to wait at guard station to get permission and an escort to photograph the vehicles there. If you have anymore questions about either place, my email: rbeshcook @ aol.com will get you through to me. Take care, Rick
