Saumur
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

thanks

Beautiful pictures. Just for your records, the M114 is a very rare M114A2. Basically a M114 with a powered turret and 20mm M139 cannon.

How did the museum get the Cold War US Armor? Gift from US to France?

For example, the M114 comes from the US Army base in Grafenwöhr (Germany) and was acquired by the museum in 1993 (Saumur museum's
magazine n° 25)

The M60 is said to come from the American army base in Ramstein, Germany, it was acquired by the museum in 2001 (Museum's magazine n° 40

The Marmon Herrington looks as though it was designed by committee!

Being British, there's a good chance it was!
Probably two, one for the hull, another for the turret.
