I had a lot of stuff hosted at the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association virtual museum, which in the last few days has produced a "domain name expired" messaged when trying to access. I have emailed the webmaster, a good friend for many years since that site has been very popular since it's inception in 2001. Will update as I hear something.

Update: It seems it's just a domain name change and site is still accessable under new name. See following links:

There are many contributors besides myself, so check for attribution for any given pic (some of troopmate Roy Lingle and some other friends are to be found there as well). I also have a lot posted under the "Places and Bases" and "Images of VN" sections, among others. The site is all VN related so I do not have a home for my more current "armor around the world" stuff. Most has been posted here at some time or other, either in my site portfolio or linked via Photobucket, which is not an "open" album for exploration....I just posted individual links to pics I though might be of interest. Some fairly large threads on my Romania, Poland and Argentina trips, but you'll have to search for that stuff...some has been up for years.


Garry Redmon has his "Armor for the Ages" website, presumably still active, which featured a lot of goings on at Knox, principally.

See if you can include the galleries from the guy in the UK that has done a terrific job documenting Bovington - He posted here for a brief while - Can't recall his name or handle - Massimo will know of whom I speak.

Armor for the Ages is still active, but its not dedicated to the Patton Museum or its volunteers as before. Now I'm doing histories and photos of the vehicles that were at the Patton Museum and APG that are now at Benning or, as in the case of the Sturmpanzer IV, at Sill. Research on their histories takes more time, but I will be posting an update soon on the Marder II that was once at the Patton Museum.

If we do that, I suggest we seek a long-term AFV News member who will volunteer to take ownership of it and verify/update validity of the URL's from time-to-time because as we have seen, they can change, sometimes precipitously.

About a half dozen names leap to mind, but I don't want to "volunteer" anybody (unless I have to, all in the interest of the mission, of course).

I could, but I am not long-term member. I have been a floater for a long time before I joined however.
