Bovington
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

When they converted it to a Ferdinand/Elephant, didn't the install the regular Mayback 230 engines used in later Tigers and remove the Porsche powerpack?

No

A special picture Massimo!
3 Centurions in a row, you don't see that often.

Glad you like it Win Smile

The exhibition tries to convey the story of a tank factory. In all honesty, I wasn't that much impressed, I am afraid it was a very ambitious goal, maybe a bit too much.

Yes it was, not to mention the amount of space it takes up. Did you get any shots of that unfinished scorpion in the background?

It's not a Scorpion, it's a TV 15000, a prototype build before it.
Yes, I have pictures of it and I will post something soon.
