Amazing tank concepts
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I've just been to the Dutch National Military Museum where they're having an exhibition celebrating 100 years of the tank. At the end of August is a live show but inside is a very interesting collection of models showing some of the incredible ideas for tanks that didn't quite make it!

The wheeled contraption was a Russian WW1 design. The "Tsar Tank". It bogged down during testing in 1915 & was finally scrapped, in-situ, in 1923!

Wow!!! Amazing stuff to see. The giant German tank looks a lot like the final challenge in the Sniper Elite III video game I played a few months back.... I had no idea that it was based on an actual design...
