The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

As you know, the Land Warfare Hall is a terrible location for photographers... I think I've managed to get a few decent shots that could improve on what we have on the PDFs. Yet I am not 100% happy of what I've got.

I have plans to come back and visit Duxford for a few days in a row, attending an airshow along the way if possible.

anything that you could provide will be better than the photos I took there.

I've been in Hendon a couple of times, Great place. During my last visit in September 2016, they were doing plenty of work in the Battle of Britain hall, most planes were disassembled, ready for moving. I've fund the new WW I very impressive.

Been twice at Duxford, a full day in 2014 then again last September with my wife (it's quite a family-friendly museum). We really enjoy our time there and even took a short flight on a De Havilland Dragon Rapid Smile
I think Duxford deserves a few days in order to get a decent photo coverage. I was thinking of attending "Flying Legends" over there plus a few extra days. Next year Tankfest and Flying Legends are a bit too close so I haven't made my mind yet about my 2017 plans.
