Woolwich. Firepower
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Interesting, I went around 4 years ago. the 102mm & the X5E1 weren't on show then.

They were both in the storage building. That area was open only to guided tours. Massimo

I believe that the museum closed in mid 2016 and the collection is being moved to the Salisbury Plain Heritage Centre near the Royal Artillery home at Larkhill which is where it really should have gone in the first place!

The Museum indeed closed in mid 2016. It remains to be seen when the collection will be accessible again... Massimo
