The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Very nice pictures Massimo, as always.
Interesting to see that the rubber comes loose from the last wheel of the Stug.

Regards,
Wim.

You have sharp eyes Laughing

Yes, it's no surprise that they run that StuG as little as possible

A recent acquisition, coming from The Finnish Military Museum, Sotamuseo. There is a plan to make it running again, hopefully pretty soon

I thought it was on loan for Tankfest, didn,'t know the museum acquired it. Very interesting !!

Seems it's on long term loan:
www.tankmuseum.org/yea...vnews63439

The Tankfest guide mentions that the SU-100 was scheduled to run, after an inspection they figure out it needs a bit more work than expected, so they will tacle the SU-100 first, then the T-34 (since they are mechanically identical)
