Yep, Teams! We're proud to announce we've started a series of private forums under the heading of "Com Central Development" and under that heading are different "Teams" you can join.

Our goal is to encourage more member participation and at the same time make CC a better, more interactive site than it is now.

CC is a member site meaning the development of the site is due to input from our members and we aren't about to change that position. Also, CC is free to all and it's our belief that it should always remain that way.

Ok, on to the team descriptions.

Aircraft Team: Development of aircraft for the different games we do here at CC.

Downloads Team: Development of our download section to improve the quality and amount of downloads.

Online Gaming Team: Development of our online gaming presence in the Sim world.

Reviews Team: Development of the Reviews at CC as well as editing and managing the Reviews.

Scenery Team: Development of Scenery enhancements for the different games we sponsor here at CC.

Tutorials Team: Development of Tutorials or Help at the CC site. In our opinion, getting help for the games we do is a great addition to any site.

Website Team: Development of CC web site.

While all of these teams are designed to make CC a better site than it is, we believe the overall success will be determined by member participation. You can join any of the teams you wish as some development will 'spill' over into other categories. An example would be Scenery and Aircraft Teams. They would also need to stay in touch with the download team.

To join a team or teams, you'll need to go to the top of the forums and click 'Usergroups". Once your on the goups page, you'll find the different teams listed. Click on apply for membership and you're done. Once approved, (you will be trust me..lol), you should 'see' the new forum appear towards the bottom of the forums.

These are new and don't have many if any posts yet, but don't let that stop you. Get involved and let's get the 'ball rolling'...:wink:

So there you have it and as always, feedback is encouraged. After all, it's your site, let's make it better!

How about putting up one "General" private dev forum (maybe even public)? We could use that for announcements, suggestions, pleas for help, etc. I'd like to help wherever and when I can, but I really don't have any interest in joining each group in and of itself.

Thanks XcalibeR! Do you think the Web Development Team would be useful for that? Just a thought and yes, we can always start another forum if need be...

Just my opinion here but.... I think we have more than enuf forums to serve just about any purpose that may come up with the hardware, software and suggestion box. We are getting borderline of too many forums that arent visited very much. It just seems we need to utilize the ones we already have without creating more.
