Gents, keep alerted: rumour is that the Spartan will be relased to Com-Central and SOH before the officially scheduled date, and we'll need it for next Sunday. Cool

So start making room in your hangars, and pay attention to possible extra liveries which should come available shortly Mr. Green

Hello my friends, Smile

I just uploaded the Spartan to the major sites. Should be showing up shortly.

I had hoped to get an early copy to you guys but we had lots of improvements to get dialed in these last few days. Hope you enjoy her.

Well, I have tried 9 times and cannot add the attachement.

Now available at Flightsim ... see release note on front page for link.

Thanks for the comments, and great pics. Smile

I just recognized an oversight with the package. For those of you who want the No VC option, I left the fltsim section for the novc option out of the aircraft.cfg. You can download a replacement aircraft.cfg here or visit our FAQ's and Known Problems page. at:
www.flightsimonline.co...rtan/faqs/

Replacement aircraft.cfg link

THANKS MILTON AND TEAM!!!!

The No VC option may be for some but not for me...gimme it all, this is a BEAUTIFUL Aircraft!!!!

Just spent an hour pleasure-flying it around.....what an absolute gorgeous piece of work!!!

More screenies if that's okay.....the ever-necessary part of a checkout, the inverted Pigsty pass.....

Diggin' the exhaust flames on startup...

Luxuriously appointed interior (don't want to give anything away but dug the screenshot on the Dell laptop - LMAO I use that same model Dell Latitude)...

WE LOVE IT!!! The Pigsty gals can't wait to climb in the backseat!!

Wow saw the paintkit too....there's gonna be a lot of repaints for this baby I bet!!
(the readme.txt file was interesting and, well, ... if you're gonna use sounds from GeeBee,
might as well have some GeeBee-lookin' paint!)

Hehe!

Here's the link to AvSim:
-> library.avsim.net/esea...DLID=80142

And several alternative textures are already available: just make a search with "spartan" as keyword, order by date, and you'll get many by Leon Louis and John Terrell... mmm, this is a job for... Fleeeeeeeeed! Mr. Green

Well if you want some 12 extra alternative paints, your Com-Central's r&d team did some tinkering for you.

get it here

updated the file with the new textures indicated by Milton and added 3 more paint to bring the total to 15

LOL Fled comes through again. Smile

Okay guys, a heads-up. Early repaints used the beta 4 textures. There were a couple changes. You can correct this easily enough.

From our texture folder, texture.urs, copy yoke.bmp and wheel_t.bmp to each of the add on folders. That's it.

Unfortunately most repainters distribute the whole folder of textures so these early repaints based on the beta are affected.

Hope you are enjoying the Spartan. Smile

Hallo, Milton!

I think Leon Louis found an easier solution providing a patch for his liveries - those made with the original paint-kit.

It can be taken here:
-> library.avsim.net/esea...DLID=80198

"File Description:
This update (patch) will correct the yoke and wheels of my previous releases(sptff1.zip to sptff5.zip inclusively) to the revised textures by the creators. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Filename: sptffud1.zip
Author: Leon Louis
Size: 181kb

I like very much the black on polished metal one, no, maybe the copper one... no, I like them all Cool

Stoopy is right...no question about it...whether at the "Pig Sty" or "Com-Central Wilderness Camp", chicks dig it!

I got mighty lucky when I landed here, and I'm not just talking about the free drinks, neither! Wink
