Vehicle ID
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Marmon Herrington light tanks. Inherited by the US Army after the Dutch East Indies fell (they were intended for the Dutch army there). Designated as T14 or T16 light tanks. Not sure which ones these are.

The leading tank is a T14, the trailing is a T16. The only difference being which side the turret is on. The T16 had turret on right, driver on left, the T14 was opposite. They were intended to operate in pairs. A quaint idea, but that seems to be exactly what the photo shows.

Oddities is my thing Wink

The one with the turret on the right-side is a T16, one with the turret on the left side is a T14. The Marmon-Herrington company designation for the T14 was the CTLS-4TAC; T16 was the CTLS-4TAY.

Some info can be found here:
Marmon-Herrington Tanks
