Stuart With Aux Fuel Tanks
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Definitely looks like eastern N.C.....(or parts of Ft. Jackson, S.C., or that matter). Squishy, sandy pine forests. Thank God I did basic in winter!

Hi TW! Hi Folks! Aux fuel tanks on the early M3 Stuarts was a common item. Their range was not that great. Sgt, Scouts Out!

- Roy_A_Lingle Aux fuel tanks on the early M3 Stuarts was a common item. Without trying to be too picky (but I can't seem to help it!) these are M3A1s. Welded sponsons, no sponson MG ports, definietly M3A1s. Paul Roberts
