I wouldn't have known those fellows,
I left DEC 91 and I thought CPT P was still in command when I did. That's why I thought of Hewitt and Hobbs. Did you know them? Then again, that was 14+ years ago and many PCS's since. One of my failings is I have a better eye for things (Cars, Trucks, Tanks) than people. I have trouble recognizing family members after a few years.

I knew both. Did a lot of TCEing for 1st Tank, I think we did a 5-10 day rotation together.

Cpt P left in Dec. In Jan/Feb we hit the field did back to back manuever/gunnery. I haven't been so cold in my life!!! Prayed for snow that year!! It had to warm up to do that....

Cpt Herndon came from Ft Polk (I knew him from there) and did some staff time before assuming command. Remember Bomferdine(sp) ? He stayed CO's driver, even after I left in July 92.

I think I recognize the name. Some of the names that I remember were all from C Company, SSG East, 1SG Cottrell, LT Finn, SGT Rocky Smith, SGT Bullock, Caudill, Ware, West, Woods, Arabie to name some. There are more but can't recall many now. Maybe after a few belts of Soju.

Many familiar names...

Rocky was Sr Instructor of my TC3 (M1A2) course back in 98. We did some time together in 2/12 at Hood, and I saw him here a year or so ago...

As for SOJU....Truely the nector of the Gods!!!

THE biggest reason I have not gone back to the ROK.
