My Valentine to the members of this DG...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

What would Valentines day be without a lovely lady, or four. We have the following for your viewing pleasure, which I'm sure graced many a GI's tent, fox-hole or bunker.
1. Veronica Lake
2. Jane Russel
3. Jane Mansfield
4. Rita Hayworth (my favorite of the bunch)
Enjoy!

Jeff,
You got good taste, Rita's my pick too. Then Jane Mansfield.

Mine would be on ammo boxes holding medical supplies in my M113, but I won't be posting those shots on this DG! Wink

...and in a probably futile attempt to bring us back on some sort of relevant topic...Rita Hayworth was fine in that last cavalry epic "They Came to Cordura" (for which Gary Cooper was probably a little old, but gave a creditable performance, anyway...).

Jeff

Are you trying to 'suck up' to all the OLD GUYS?? Shocked Laughing

Although all 'Classic Beauty's', they are of ..."the Greatest Generation".

I'm a 'baby boomer' myself,....Raquel, Farrah, Bo Derek and a host of other 'actresses' that I won't mention as this is a pseudo-family site, Twisted Evil are more my speed.

I had to laugh out loud at the "suck up to the old guys" comment. You're only as old as you feel. Some days I'm 30 again (best shape of my life before blowing out my knee playing soccer on the Ft Stewart Championship team), some days I feel my 43. How old do you feel Dontos?

Although they are all old enough to be my Grandmothers............I can appreciate some classic beauty.

Definitely Rita

I don't think I'll ever feel that young again, but seeing how you are doing something you really like (working at the Patton Museum) its no wonder you feel young. I feel youngest when playing pass with my boys, tearing across the desert on my quads, or cruising the Harley.
