Armor in cinema: "The Day the Earth Stood Still"...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Those 2-color camouflaged Abrams tanks were the ones used in the movie, "The Hulk". They were in the scene when Big Green escaped the underground center and was bounding towards San Fransisco.

Best part of the whole movie.

Especially that lovely bit where he picks up and swings one around a few times by the barrel for a "hammer throw" without having the turret separate from the hull! Mr. Green

The fact that the crew climb out is a testament to the survivability of the crew when the Abrams was developed.....?!

What!! Shocked That wasn't real?? Laughing
