19th Engineers Reactivated at Knox (O/T)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

19th Engineer soldiers are currently assigned to the 16th Cav Reg't and wear the Armor Center patch. The soldiers coming in to fill the IBCT are being assigned to HHC Garrison and are wearing the US Army Garrison patch. It looks like a shield with an eagle on it.

They are standing up as the 5th Bde, 25th ID but will become a part of the 1st ID sometime during their stand up.
