Trumpeter's BR-52 well, here we go...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Trumpeter's BR-52 well, here we go...
Hi Guys-
Are the nitpickers starting already? Not really, the paragraph below I translated using Babblefish. It is from the site I posted a link to in a posting below. The writer does appear to be saying the decals are all wrong just a few of them. Anyway, I thought I'd post in case it helps anyone with their choice of markings
"The Decals in the kit is not correct all. The locomotive number 8139 was assigned to no machine waerend the war. The numerical order starting from 8000 was only assigned in accordance with the war with the National Railroad of the GDR. This happened in the course of the reconstruction program of the series 52. (information from Thomas Schuenecke)"

Just the decals for 8139 are wrong, that number was issued post-war in East Germany.
