Do any of yall know what type of plane this is?

Or better yet, where and when this might have been taken?

hmm... That's a tricky one... though I think I can figure it out. I think it may be, just a guess, the Spruce Goose.

The Spruce Goose is a very famous plane, it's the only one of it's type. It's the largest aircraft ever built. and only ever flew once. It was supposed to be a cargo aircraft during WWII, but it didnt' fly until 1947, and therefore was more of a concept aircraft than anything. It's now housed at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.

Spruce Goose is a name given the plane by reporters which H.H. despised.

After my son posted this I told him it would be easy to identify because it was the only one of its time. Then I pointed out the name at the bottom of the picture and he got embarrassed, haha.
