We’re getting down to the last two months before the show and it’s time to let you all know how things are going.

In case you haven’t seen Dave Potter’s message regarding vendors, this year we have broken a number of records. We have sold out faster than ever before, we have more new vendors than ever before and we have sold a total of more tables than ever before! We have had 87 tables reserved and paid for by the 2nd of March, which is unheard of in other years. From Dave’s list, see below, you can see that we have a really good mix of old favourites and new vendors.

We have had the excellent help of Kurt Laughlin helping to arrange the facilities this year, and for those of us who know Kurt, you couldn’t put a better guy in charge of getting all the details right.

For those who like to do their paperwork in advance and not stand in line Friday morning, we are again offering pre-registration for the 2006 show. Go to the link below and you will see everything you need to sign up in advance.

The Museum itself has been outstanding, going out of their way to make sure we have a great experience.

Bill Schmitt, this year’s Chief Judge, has been gathering up the ACJs for the contest portion and he and I will be offering two judging classes to help those who have never judged in the AMPS system before. We depend upon the kindness of attendees and we want to make it seem like as much fun as it actually is. If you are coming to the show for the first time, at an AMPS Nationals, we will not only permit you to judge, we will actively encourage it!

So, for all of you who might have wondered whether the AMPS Nationals had the legs to go to the Mid-West, I think we can all see that it not only has the legs, it’s getting there running!

OK, I completely missed this post while I was away for a few days, but let's keep this at the "top" for those lucky enough to go (which would include me, but I think this conflicts with Memorial Day at Ft. Knox so I have to choose between 1:1 and smaller scale).

For those of you lucky enough to go, we expect reports! (and pics!)
