You have to wade through some boring super-secret black program hyper-velocity space plane stuff to get to the good bits, but it's in there...about 1/2 tor 2/3rds of the way down.....

Ooooo! Excelllent reading - THANK YOU!!!!! What I remember was that the real bane of the XB-70 was the horribly long and complex hydraulic system. Man it would be so easy to redesign that with the 50 year's worth of improvements that have been made since that time. I liked this part especially:

Abso-frikkin-lutely right.....GOTTA have them!!! How can it be a world-call spaceplane with VLE's????
