New Cannon?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I'd have to agree with the M109 chassis. The "hoses / Cables" attached to the cannon make me think its at a test range somewhere, possibly firing new types of ammunition. Any other ideas?

I was wondering if it was a testbed for the liquid propellent cannon that every now and then pops to the surface. The hoses/wires are probably instrumentation but the boxy fitting at the base of the barrel is what made me suspect liquid propellent
