Post subject: Ho ho ho - Vista - gotta laff

Vista Beta testing has alledgedly revealed so many errors that 60% of the code is being re-written.

I can't link you to the story yet because every time one appears it's promptly removed! Possibly by M$ "representatives", as M$ are strenuously denying the reports despite all the xBox developers who have been seconded onto the Vista project (LMFAO!!!).

Another report, which was similarly strenuously denied, concerned all the Vista Project Managers about to be removed from the Vista project. Sadly this report has since been confirmed when... they were sacked.

I notice there are reports on this appearing all the time now so, chances are, if you Google for it, you might be linked to one while it's still up.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS BILLY-BOY!!

"Uhm, Mr. M$ Project Engineer, can you tell me why you need this job and why you left your last place of employment?"...

Actually, I like XP for the most part and Vista..well, we'll just have to see once it gets released. The Beta testers got the latest release and from everything I've read, says it was pretty good. I wonder if 'bill' was looking to integrate more 'future' code and was told..." NOT NOW Boss, we're almost done!"

Hope so.

[edit: Apparently the code worked in it's separate component packages and conflicts only started emerging once it had all been put together.

Beta 2 was due out next month.
There's no point releasing it with the bugs they are alledged to have running now so, if it doesn't happen, it will confirm the story.
Watch out for more M$ heads bouncing down a pavement near you soon...(sidewalk). :D]
