Actually by that time, I was so burnt out from the 'Holiday Fun', I sat down for some distraction.

If you look at the turreted V600 in the old thread it looks decidedly different from the shots above. Different hull shape, different hubs fo the wheels, different lights on the bow. If that rusted hulk is a V600 it certainly DID do a lot evolving! For a moment I hought it was that Italian wheeled APC, the what's-his-name, the FIAT 6614 - but I think that's a 4x4.

Also, to add to the confusion, that old thread also had a picture of the old abortive LAV-105 vehicle (that's the only photo I've ever seen of it), mistakenly labelled a V600. So for turreted big-wheel AC's confusion reigns!

A vehicle that looks very similar, or is the same?, is used by one of the Police SWAT teams, without the turret of course.

I'll see if I can find the magazine that had the article on the Team and then scan the image. The vehicle had been donated to the team by the manufacturer as being surplus to their requirements.
