M5A1 High Speed Tractor & 2S1 pics @ Toadman's
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Thanks, Chris...I love those old tractors!

BTW, what was the model of the tractor seen in this kit (my favorite!) and how does it differ from the M5A1? (apart from canvas and stepped cab, obviously). Where did it fall it the spectrum of "high speed tractors".
(Ooops!...nevermind...it's an M4 HST)

(I had this kit as a kid and made the coolest diorama in sand for my room...back in ~'63 or so...)

LOL, I dont think that 2S1 ever looked that clean in Iraqi service. Its so clean as to look out of place in Iraqi markings...
