Hello All,

If you have that terrible supressed compulsion to shoot at or bomb something in FS9 then relax.....you can do it ! There's a little app called AirFx2 2005 that I downloaded the other day that will allow you to do that and more. Best of all.....it's cheap !

Make all kinds of special effects line tracers, bombs dropping and blasts, smoke and fire, etc., but destroys nothing. (Environmentally Friendly?)

Kinda fun.

Ron,

Found other shoot-em-up effects for FS2004 at Simouthouse/FS2004/Effects: Icki has mg, cannon and rockets. Then yet another at Flightsim.com RCBSC-12.ZIP for mg and cannon that could easily adapted to anything by making appropriate aircraft.cfg entries.

Now if we knew how to make .dp files for FS9.......

I here that, I would be there. LOL. I fly a lot of Military planes over at Transload, and the gun effects would be great. Have you tried Fr8dy cats oh6 cayuse, military version at Hovercontrol? It has a gatling gun with muzzle flash, smoke and empty cartriges falling out of the bottom. Cool effects. We are using it at Transload Army Division.

AirFx 2006 demo is posted at Flightsim.com. Only for a one hour trial but that should be enough to let one know if they really want/need the add-on.
