Ampersand Publishing is still ALIVE!
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Ampersand Publishing is still ALIVE!

Hi Folks!

For the model builders out there that have been waiting for the next issue of Military Miniatures in Review for the last two (?) years. Crying or Very sad

I found issue No. 39 in the mail today!

In the "From Your Editor" section, Pat Stansell says that they have a large back log and will be trying to put two new items in the next three issues while slowly clearing out the back log. His pledge is: "If we can't be timely, at least we can be relevant." Razz

It was a good day here in West Texas. I finally fixed one Smile of the two Evil or Very Mad ways to get into this DG and a new issue of MMiR to read during the weekend. Mr. Green

Spot Report!
Sgt, Scouts Out! Smile

It's good to hear that MMiR is alive!

I check the Squadron Shop site for new stuff every week and noticed that Ambersand also has a new "Allied-Axis" and their "High Speed Tractor" books out and available. Both of these are highly desired by me!

I'm waiting, also, for the revised "Modelers' Guide to the Sherman", but I would rather have it right than fast.

Just picked it up at the hobby shop Friday. Looks good as always though I do not like the captioned article format on the Dragon tiger. I find it difficult to match the text to the pictures. Sometimes the pictures are on the previous page, it seems disorganized.
