I've had a permanent ringing in my ears for as long as I can remember, and at a lower freq than that - which my wife and I both heard quite well at 40!

ok i tried again with volume higher i hear a kinda high pitched freq sound but not a regular ring tone noise?

that is the ring tone..lol..according to the article by using that high pitched sound we "older" folks won't be able to hear it..
