Take a look-see here, and especially at the videos in the Screenshots/Videos section. Note the realistic flight effects and aircraft functions....maybe not the best in the scenery department, but the rest of it looks mighty sweet if this is your cup o'swill....

Also, note the Online Multiplayer aspect (!!!!). Soaring and spot-landing competitions, etc......Hmmm!!!

Only thing is, it's not free.....but not bad either! If anything else, worth a look just because it's an interesting sim for a specific facet of flying, see if you agree.....

Yeah, kind of looks like PROPS racing, with Soaring -- Hey, perhaps I just invented a new FS9 sport? heh heh heh

Graphics definately weak in this one compared to FS9 and even harder to stomach after toying with FSX demo, but could be interesting, more so in a PROPS type format.

Speaking of PROPS, when is the next season?

PROPS Practice and familiarization sessions are going on right now, Bob (Maple_One) is sending emails to those who have registered, so if you're registered at West Coast ATC PROPS and not getting those, let me know and I'll pass the word.

In the meantime, no schedule has yet appeared for the next race season, things seem to stil be in flux with Gary (Freebird) having just moved and ending up in a new house that's in an area without ANY cable or DSL options, he's stuck on dial-up (gasp!!!), and we're still waiting on the point results to be posted from this last season.

So it's in-between right now and a good time to get set up. I'm also remiss in my duties and need to post this info in the PROPS section here... thanks for the reminder!
