This Pershing was a little worse for the wear as you'll see from the pictures. Obviously pulled from target duty but not before recieving some scars. I like the holes in the road wheels and shock. Serial number on the rear tow lug read 1983. 1st Aid Box that was discussed about being on Shermans sides, can be seen on the left rear fender of this vehicle.

Odd! Somebody took a cutting torch and removed the two mounting points off the side of the turret for setting up an 'A' frame which the crews used to remove the power pack. The front one was mounted on that square area just to the right of the lower half of the gun mantel. In Jeff's rear left photo, you can see a square area were the rear mount was cut off. In both locations, the area was cleaned up as if nothing had been welded there.
